Introduction to the Italian Language Social
An evening of learning conversational Italian. Topics include salutations, alphabet, articles, numbers and time, days/months/seasons, pastimes, verbs, foods/vegetables, family tree, clothing, restaurant conversations, body parts, recipe dish, scene from a doctor's office for example.
No knowledge of the Italian language is necessary. It is open to all. If you are planning a trip to Italy, or if you are of Italian descent but don't speak the language, this evening will be a fun way to learn the very basics.
Participants will be organized in small groups and rotate through stations that focus on each of the above topics. The evening will end with an Onscreen Quiz to reinforce your learning experience. Bring a notebook and pen to record what you have learned.
