The Institute of Italian Studies Graduate Award
The Institute of Italian Studies has established a $15,000 Graduate Award to be awarded every second year to a Masters or PhD student based on academic excellence and their research topic. Applicants should demonstrate through a brief written statement that their field of study and research is aligned with the mandate of the Institute of Italian Studies: "the promotion, appreciation, research, and study of the Italian language, Italian-Canadian culture and history with a special but not exclusive reference to Northwestern Ontario".
The deadline for applications is February 1, 2019. Eligible students may apply online through Lakehead's MyAwards System:
